Meet Tracy

Principal speech pathologist, Tracy Hopkins, is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) and Listening and Spoken Language Specialist (LSLS Cert AVT).  She has post-graduate qualifications in education and speech pathology.

Tracy is a registered mentor for professionals seeking certification as a Listening and Language Specialist through A G Bell and has lectured in developmental speech disorders to the Masters of Speech Pathology students at Macquarie University.

Tracy has sixteen years of experience in the not-for-profit sector, working at The Shepherd Centre and has a particular interest in speech disorders.

Tracy is also keenly interested in research and evidence-based practice, and has presented at conferences in Australia, the U.S. and Asia thanks to her work at the Shepherd Centre.  In addition, she has co-authored published papers on topics including outcomes for children with hearing loss and

tele-intervention.
